Robert has been a dealer, distributor and installer of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) for almost 20 years. As an authorized builder for United Structures of America, Inc (USA) and Ceco Building Systems (CBS) Robert has been involved with many types and sizes of PEMB building projects. In addition, Robert has installed a variety of other manufacturers' buildings giving him extensive knowledge and understanding of the many uses, applications and flexibility of the PEMB system(s). A member of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) for 10 years, Robert is certified as a contractor/installer who provides quality workmanship and maintains a high level of integrity. Both the PEMB industry and leading manufacturers have recognized Roberts work with numerous design and building awards.

In 2010, Robert completed training for designing and building with structural insulated panels (SIP's) in residential and commercial applications and has since been committed to the promotion and implementation of the "NAHB Green Building Program" as an Energy Star Partner. Robert has recently used SIP's in the design and construction of a private school and auditorium, a large refrigerated cooler building and a book storage building for a local library.

Robert Mangold has participated in and contributed to several projects in the capacity of Construction/Project Manager. The responsibilities of Robert as CM/PM are explained in detail on the attached sample CM Contract. Three of these projects were assisted living facilities. One, built in Clinton CT., was a new stand alone multi-level building with a full service dining hall, hair/beauty salon and other amenities. A second facility was built in Saugerties, NY. This was a multi-level addition to an existing building that included a total renovation of the existing building into administrative offices and common area space. Another adjacent building was converted from an apartment dwelling to assisted living and included adding a passenger elevator, converting single rooms into suites and adding a dining hall wing. A third multi level facility, to be built in East Greenbush, NY, has been designed, approved for construction and is awaiting financing. Photos of these projects in their various stages of design and construction can be found in our projects section.
